[Update 5 Nov 2025 1948] ENS is now hands off. The update was successful and we are off of the vulnerable code.
[Update: 5 Nov 2025, 1713] Tonight, 5 Nov 2025 between 1800 and 2000 PST, SDSC will apply a vendor provided update to address critical vulnerabilities. Due to redundant hardware, we do not predict any outage time, but there could be brief disruptions in traffic.
Update: Nov 3rd 1626: Still investigating. Issue has been escalated with Juniper to investigate possible bugs within the software.
SDSC is aware of network issues that occurred during Sunday morning at ~0100 and this morning at ~0906. ENS engineers are currently investigating with high priority tickets also opened with the vendor.
